well BT is easy to detect but its a lot harder on hosting sites but it does depend on the terms of use but one would guess its safe as usually the files are stored as rar files anyway which can be anything.
BT is definitely more risky than DLL. However, keep in mind that your school or company's IT department can keep track of everything you do on the Internet.
ye but then again so many ppl use the computers in a school, that they are not gonna look at everybodies internet history i don't think as long as u don't look suspicious.
i wouldnt download on my laptop. i use my desktop at home for downloading and if i want any media onto my laptop i transfer it at home . I would think its pretty safe but i rather be safe than sorry.
^ that guy is probably like me, I don't ddl with my laptop either... so i won't get slowdown or other garbage. My laptop isn't as powerful or doesn't have as much HD space than my desktop
of course u get catch easily, torrent consumes alot of bandwidth. it is to detect since ur using random port which is open. the it department will just look for any unknown active port running which trace ur pc ip address assign to u. For megaupload they can still track u since 1 ep is around 250mb big which they cant accept since ur sharing file in uni eg wont exceeded 10mb. but u will be more safe cause ur using port 80 which is for web browser which everyone is using the same.
well acually for my skool if u download illegally (movies, music ect.) and they catch u you have to lyk go to jail or sumthing 4 downloading illegally
