Um, it doesn't? Feeling hot does not equate increase metabolism, and the effect (if there is an effect, that is) is only temporary, once you take a shower (I assume everyone takes a shower?) most of the "increased metabolism" is virtually gone, if they were indeed increased in the first place. So, yes to opening pores, no to burning calories. So much for weight loss myths.
em its a good question but i doubt it. cuz calories are energy needed to burn the sugar. if you are sweating but not due to excercise, the sweating wont help that much. cuz there is no energy to raise the metabolism.
