Mmmmm~ i started off with Jpop... and then later grew interest in jrock and the kinda hip-hop side like m-flo and KREVA and them... Firstly i dun really know who fits in jrock coz i got some tunes that are really heavy and some more mainstream... but heres my contribution with my favourites listing first:: - UVERworld (Great catchy tunes... D-TechnoLife was a BLEACH OP song... recommend 'Just melody.') - HIGH & MIGHTY COLOR (Also quite catchy but not that good if overplayed.. OP songs for Gundam Seed and BLEACH) - OLIVIA and ANNA TSUCHIYA in their releases for NANA - Do as Infinity (are they considered jrock?) - ORANGE RANGE - Nightmare - L'arc~en~ciel - ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION - GLAY - HYDE

I've been listening to jrock for ages now... japanese are the best in asian rock... koreans got the r'n'b and rap... chinese got all the good love songs...
oh, i used to love jrock; going to visual kei's concert every month and spending a lot of money T-T but i guess i grew up & started some kind of new life away from parents etc. but i do still listen to this kind of music <3 ROCK <3 MY LIFE
Jrock sucks. only good bands is Dir En Grey, boris and mono you guys seem to like bands that have played intro or outro songs for anime.
First of all, i hate dir en grey after they started to copy too strong "american like music" and lost their "japanese root". Second of all, no i dont seem to listen to music from anime, but the truth is a lot of vk/jrock bands made intros for series. アリス九號. & RENTRER EN SOI & ギルガメッシュ & ガゼット= pure love <3
i've only heard some JRock from anime like Death Note and i like some of Gackt songs, other than that, i've heard some of my Japanese mates perform some heavy JRock locally but thats about it ~
even if people liked the music due to anime, they still like something jrock. Gots to be Gackt, Miyavi, Luna Sea, X-Japan, L~arc~en~ciel, Dir en grey, S.K.I.N, SUG, An Cafe, Alicde Nine, The Gazette... Well thats what is currently on my playlist that I'm listening to lol. A bit of everything but these are my faves x
Jrock is starting to grow on me, im liking Asian Kung Fu Generation, FLOW (they did two songs for my favourite anime of all time, Code Geass) and Orange Range (who also did a song for Code Code) ~ they're not heavy rock, but more alternative rock but its still nice ^^
Vamps is the best jrock album ive listened to this year and for a long time. well its basically l'arc en ciel under another name, love their new album...
