If I can wind back the clock, I would like not to have gone into further education and to Uni. Instead, to start taking up a skill as soon as I've finished high school. I like cooking so I would like to have learnt to be a chef. See how many celebrity chefs there are on TV these days. If you start your business, no one can tell you off as you have yourself to be responsible for.

i think if we don't have an education, at this time doesn't exist all that can see and use at this moment.

Not many people can make it rich without an education, all the richest people in the world right now don't have much of an education, but that's like 20 out of how many billion people can do it? Now compare the educated people that make $200k a year, how many people do that? Education is almost required to live a comfortable life.

The richest and most famous people are the ones who do something different in their lives. Education can help but is not required to succeed.

Yeah, I think so if u got a higher level of education. It is easier to find a well-pay job and the work mates will respect you more in my opinion. ^_^

  9. Not if you plan to rob a bank... and it's not like everyone makes that kinda salary after finishing school. Obviously those top 20 people took the risks and decided to do something different with their lives....

    education is only a tool.

it teaches you how to think critically. it gives you reasons, logical thinking and skills. not necessarily success.

success is HOW you manipulate and apply the SKILLS you learn from your education.

Having a good educational background will certainly help you move ahead especially in the corporate world.

In today's world, knowledge is power. Education broadens your views.

No doubt there are people who make it without much education, but the road to success is that much bumpier and harder to travel.

if they do i'm sure they're business related, and they must learn the laws of the land, and they must have learnt somewhere to make money...
lol, even being a chef u have to learn, wether u teach urself or not is a different story
u can't just sit around hoping for something good to happen...
o yea and if ppl tell u they made it big without much education thats a complete lie

it depends the level of education you have achieved in high school. There are people out there who are naturally gifted and doesn't need a higher education like college but you really need a high school diploma to start. For example, Bill Gates didn't need college but he went for about three years. When he made Microsoft, he dropped out in his junior year in college. Therefore, College is like a car insurance, you need to go to be assured that you will find a job that is desired in the future.

Nothing garantees success, but education can move the odds in your favour.

Much like you can't make someone fall in love with you... but good looks, charm and money can do wonders to your chances! :)
