actually, space and time ties together, as space time (einstein).

space-time was created as a dimension after the big bang, therefore space is not unlimited. also, there is a chance that time won't even exist after the next big bang.

No, both galaxy and universe (or space as you called it) is limited (finite). Galaxy is smaller than the Universe. They are different things. Our universe (space) is made up of many many galaxies.

Yes I think the universe is infinite and yes the universe is made up of many galaxies. Im sure life is out there somewhere in space. I doubt earth is the only planet with living organisms.

I dont think space is infinite. Everything has a limit and space is no exception. Well, its impossible to get to the end point of space right now because its 2 long of a distance. I believe that we humans are not alone and there are bunch of other living things out there like us pondering the same things about galexies and space.

According to textbooks, the universe is expanding at a rate faster than the speed of light! (or so they say) Even if the universe ceased expansion right this moment no one in our lifetime, or in the next few generations lifetime be able to reach the end because it's so HUMONGOUS. Scary thought to think what else is out there...DUN DUn dun

well, in physics class, for potential gravitational energy and escape velocity, the height reference is assumed to be infinity, eg approaches 0 when h (from a mass) approahes infinite
