well i think it kind of makes sense anyway... especially here in australia during the summer if your a fob coz its like 40 degrees plus celsius on some days, yeh alot of fob girls carry umbrella. also once i seen a cacausian woman carry an umbrella in the sun, she must have got the idea from a fob.
I usually hold an umbrella during daylight to protect my hair and skin since radiactive rays is very evident during that day
My mom does the same thing. She would wear a hat or carry a umbrella because she wants to be white and freckle free. I personally don't mind the sun but I don't want to carry a umbrella with me and look like a fool
As of now I dont hold an umbrella when the weather is good but that doesnt mean I wont in the future. If it is determine that it will help by not being in sun to long I will consider carrying it. For people that currently carry I dont see a problem with that. One of the good thing about this country is it tolerance.
well i think last decade western will stare at us using umbrella but now the western are using more umbrella in daylight to protect themselves from skin cancer.
i personally don't but i see why people do it i like my umbrellas but they are all massive and neon coloured and i only use it in the rain, for sunshine i don't bother coz i like my absorbtion of Vitamin D but lots of people hate the sun and the UV rays can be too strong for some that's why they take their brollies out with them, just like my mum, she doesn't liek the strong ray of sun and hates getting a tan, that's why she takes a brolly out with her when she's in HK.. but not back at home in UK coz we don;t always get the strong sunshine like the hot humid climate does. so it really depends on what climate and what weather you are in really.
i think ppl who hold and umbrella in the sun are fools. but i guess it is a good way to prevent one self from skin cancer if the sun is strong. i personally love being in the sun so i ask why are you even out if you're gonna be in the shade the whole time
people will find it troublesome to carry out an umbrella during sunny day. but for rainy days, its necessary.
if i used an umbrella, i could save on sunscreen, or use both for super protection lol don't like the idea of premature aged skin, white or tan skin. so i wish i could hold an umbrella, but being in the early twenties and doing so in the street just wouldn't look so fly here in the west. here i think umbrellas are cute with Silly rain boots; not dress, sandals and prada shades on a sunny day, i had a friend who'd laughed at me before i could suggest an umbrella for the scorching beach. i still wish i could. ^^
i don't but i don't think there's a problem with using an umbrella in a sunny day. there's no rule saying you can only use your umbrella in rainy days.
