IMHO, there's constructive commenting and then there's frivolous. From my view, if someone takes an old thread but really delves into a long, protracted and well thought response or comment, then that should be allowed as it revives an old post with new ideas worthy of discussion or consideration. Quite the contrary, someone who retorts with a one or two word frivolous commentary to something from ages ago, and then continues to repeat this method of response, in a short period of time, to multiple (aka string) old threads; adds nothing to the discussion. This behavior pattern would lead many to openly question the motivations of the poster. Ralph
Crap, I'm kinda new here and I was bored and was posting in a few threads in the Lounge and Chinese Chat. How old does the last comment have to be before it counts as necroing an old thread? I think the threads I posted to were like 2 or 3 weeks old. Does that count as too old?
i think it depends... cos if ur comments are constructive and relevant to the thread...then it wont count as spam or thread digger... cos u are contributing to the thread in a good way..

I can somehow understand what you are trying to explain/say. What she meant to say is: If someone can’t find an album/song or whatever. They usually SPAM to get attention, hoping that someone could help her find the album/song. (Spamming is good part) For example: Need help trying to find @@@ album PLS pls thank you !!! (is this what you meant to say?) This might look like a good idea, BUT it isn’t. -spam-offtopic Since 1. Wasting forumspace, ur posting useless threads/post 2. You get scolded and get reported etc…-imwithstu 3. You could use the search button, if you can’t find it go to option 4 4. There is a *request section* Where you can request all you want, just follow the requesting rules.
