I hear the canto slang "kai" quite frequently but I'm not exactly sure what it means. It's used in FAMA's 問題兒童 a lot.

I think should be in the Chinese discussion, not Japanese. And the wiki article doesn't mention it, I'm sure its slang but I don't know the exact meaning.

  3. 小小

    小小 (゚ー゚)(。_。)(゚ー゚)(。_。) afk

Then why did you post it in the lounge in the first place? :p

It can mean many things in many different languages and so I think it would be valid in any of the sections, if you looked in the wiki it would have told you what it means depending on what your after.

It is commonly used in names

    Japanese -
In regards to "change", it applies to Dragon Ball Z Kai and Kai is pronounced as rhyming with "high" so that's where the ocean came from.

    Chinese -
    Source - Kai (name) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:WPanthroponymy.svg" class="image"><img alt="WPanthroponymy.svg" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/99/WPanthroponymy.svg/30px-WPanthroponymy.svg.png"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/9/99/WPanthroponymy.svg/30px-WPanthroponymy.svg.png

Whereas if it is used in a sentence, it doesn't really mean anything by itself and thus can mean many different things depending conjunction. So depending on the kanji this applies in your FMA case.

I'm surprised this was moved to the Japanese Chat forum as this is a question regarding a Cantonese song.

"idiot, stupid, retarded"? I'll have to check the music video.

Sorry for not specifying which language :p. But I originally meant with respect to FAMA's song in cantonese. I know it can be used to mean stupid/idiot/daft in chinese, but is that the way FAMA is using it?
