The Exorcist's 2nd Meter" producer Dave Fong recently assured that the sequel is strong enough to stand on its own even if you haven't watch the original 2017 series. As reported on Mingpao, the producer who spoke about the new drama that premiered on 4 May, stated that while the plot of the second series is related to the previous one, they did not make the drama assuming that the audience have watched the last one. "You are welcome to watch it at any time. Of course, it will be much more fun if you watched the first one first. We recommend you do that first," he said. Dave also revealed that one of the climaxes of the series will revolve around Kenneth Ma's character travelling through time and meeting important people in his past life, which will help him reconsider his missions.
