Tunisian fans will meet the Swedish death metal band "Dark Tranquility" next week to enjoy their first show in an Arab and African country, the event's organizer said Sunday. "This is an opportunity to organize a show with Dark Tranquility. This group is very popular among Tunisian fans of metal music. The fact that several local groups interpret their songs in concerts is a proof of their popularity," Nadia Jelliti from NJ Events told Xinhua. "We succeeded to get a date on a busy tour. They will make a stopover in Tunis between a date in Europe and another in Asia," she said. The show in the north African country is scheduled on Dec. 12 at the El Menzah indoor stadium. Carthagods, a Tunisian rock metal band, will perform during the first part of the show. "Dark Tranquillity" was set up in 1989 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The members of the band include vocalist Mikael Stanne, two guitarists Niklas Sundin and Martin Heniksson, bassist Daniel Antonsson and drummer Anders Jivarp. Sources: Xinhua
