Curl vs Straight

i personally think that straightened hair is better since you don't have to apply as much hair spray or gell to keep it in place

 

haha okay i've had my hair permed before
and personally curled hair is so much easier to deal with
u never have a bad hair day

u wash ur hair and that's all u have to do
u wake up.. and u wet ur hair.. and the end..

straight hair.. u have to blow dry and stuff.. and my hair is never straight when i wake up in the morning lol

 

I got a feeling it's because your hairstyler has trimmed it too thin and hence, it curls as it grows longer!!!


And does anyone know a good hairdresser in Melbourne???

If someone lives in London, next to China Town there is a very nice Hairdresser calls "Headquarter". Most of them are HK Chinese and very pro. The only thing is, its not very cheap =)
Buuuut at the end u got a very nice haircut!

i like my hair curly. but sometimes i really prefer straight because having curly hair takes me forever to get ready!! >.< as if i dont take forever already when i got straight hair ;T

I prefer straight. It's managable, it goes with any face shape & it doesn't tangle as easily as curly hair. (I frequently run my hands through my hair, and I'm not a fan of tangles)

For 2008? I'd say curly is going to come back. The classy curly. Like Marilyn Monroe - esque. Not the boho curls or beach waves.

as for me, curl will mk a girl looks sexier and more mature.. while the straightened hair.. looks more innocent and younger

 

for me, i feel tat curly hair is nice although it;s hard to manage if compare with straighten hair..

 

I love straightened hair but curly hair 'makes a girl look more matured.

 

i think curly hair makes one appear a lot more femine ... but as you said.. it can be quite troublesome to handle.

I prefer to keep my hair as it is, so I can play around with it a lot more
e.g. straighten it with a straightener if i feel like having straight hair that day, or alternativly curl it before i go to bed with a curler, so the curls would look more natural when i wake up the next day!

It depends on the shape of your face. However you have some lucky girls who are fitting all looks. Maybe you are one of them. I prefer straight hair for myself as with curly hair I seem 5 years older (=my own age), with straight hair everyone bet I'm so much younger hahahah

 

I have fine hair and straight hair is usually easier to style.
I love having curly hair sometimes but takes me hours to get it that way. Thats why I find curly hair so nice!
My bf says that straight hair is more flattering on me though .

 

I would prefer curls. I have naturally straight hair and it makes my hair limp and flat against my head. I try to make ii have more 'volume' by blowing it out, but it gets flat again after an hour or so.. sigh... i asked my hairstylist and she said its because my hair is too fine.. I woould go for curls.
