what i mean is that when i am converting a rmvb file to avi format the file ends up being so big that i can only fit about 5 eps on one disc. i've read on one of the threads that ppl can fit about 10 eps avi format on a disc.

did i explain it better now??? sorry must have been real tired that day!!

    thanks

In Winavi settings select Quality, set to lower or lowest (still better than VCD clarity). Your converted files won't be as big and you'll be able to fit over 5 eps on a disc. If you want to fit more eps, use DVD shrink to compress it down to 4.7gb.

It's strange that I find Korean series can be converted in half the file size as compared with Chinese series.

    The_Jelly NSFW? :P

If you want subtitles, you will have put the .srt files in for conversion if not, you can hardsubb them into the movie. Then burn normally.

that is rather strange indeed. dunno how u got that. maybe the quality wasn't that great in the first place and so it just reduces the file size further perhaps.
