Considered fat by HK standards

    Also remember, the average height and frame size in Hong Kong is smaller. So if they put on just a bit of weight, it throws them out of proportion very quickly. Where taller and bigger guys here can gain some weight and still look somewhat "ok."

    that's true. but still, the sizes in Hong Kong are ridiculous. a lot of stores have that "one size fits all" junk. in North America one size fits all is this f'n huge potato sack thing that indeed does "fit" all, but in HK it's this tiny little shirt that barely anyone can fit in. guess that's why girls are always trying to be rail thin... the stores don't make the sizes big! D:
