hmm...okies....well i was looky at the 13 inch white mac 2.2ghz * 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo * 1GB memory * 120GB hard drive1 * Double-layer SuperDrive would that be like a ubber slow machine...coz i dun know...but know it looks niceeee
macs are always overated in the price and you don't get much for your money. however, if its the way you want to go, seems like a decent ultra portable setup to me (mind you the 1g of ram and the possible 5400rpm hard drive)
It'll run fine. The OS itself is faster when compared to Windows so you won't need like 2GB of ram. The macbook will run smoothly. But first you gotta make sure you can live without the capabilities of windows. But I guess you could always dual boot :\
definitely not gonna be slow lol, cause it's a mac and i doubt you'll use many softwares on it. an uber slow machine is probably intel celeron, vista basic and 512 ram haha...wonder why stores still sell those configurations.
Because idiots still buy them lol. @BB You gotta be really sure you want to use the Mac OS. If your not sure if your ready to switch form windows to Mac then just get a normal PC laptop. As for me I'm considering a Mac cause I've had experience with using the OS and absolutely love it.

Well iWorks can work with powerpoint, excel, and word documents. You don't need to worry about that. Plus Knoc posted a link about a new 08 office, which is good cause the 04 office lagged like hell on the new systems.
