Hello Everyone Need some techy advice. I just bought a new laptop and it runs on Windows 8 (i dont like it!). In order to play all my rmvb's and other video files am i able to dl the codecs like i did before with Windows 7? i found the website for free codecs but I'm not sure which one is best for windows 8. I'm thinking it works the same but the descriptions dont mention if its compatible with windows 8. I tried to look at it before I asked! Thanks! Babs
Doesn't hurt to try. I'm pretty sure it'll be compatible. If not, just download VLC Media Player. It plays everything without codecs (I think).
I have windows 8 on my new HP Pavillion Laptop and i didn't need to do anything was watchable so thought Win 8 has codecs already installed.
