After showering, I stick toilet paper in my ear hole to clean it.
I guess it's moisted, so it's easier to clean.

What? No power drill or dynamite suggestions? LOL...

Seriously, one should always be very hesitant about putting anything into an ear canal (whether it belongs to one's self or not), as one wrong move can easily perforate the drum. Further, one should not assume that the tympanic membrane itself (eardrum) to always be intact. There can be small holes or micro ruptures in the membrane itself, allowing bacteria (and God knows what else people shove into there) or other substances to migrate past it and into the middle ear. The severity of the consequences can include infection, or permanent hearing loss, to something potentially life threatening like meningitis. Hence, I would not use anything other than simple warm water mixed 50/50 (ie. 1 part each) with peroxide. If after repeated attempts (2 - 3 times with about an half hour wait in between) with H2O/H2O2 mixtures don't work, then see your doctor.

At AC0110, that was a serious impaction. But at least it wasn't a bee or roach, LOL...

Oh, and here's a little do-it-yourselfer who, er... done it to himself, LOL...

I use an ear pick, I just don't go too deep or go too hard against the ear canal walls. There is an oily film which lines the canal. When you scrap too hard you'll scratch the canal wall surface and create even more oil or worst infection. Just go easy!

Just add two drops of Hydrogen Peroxide to each ear. Wait for 10 seconds and then clean it with a Q-tip.

You should NOT be cleaning your ears yourself. If wax is such a big problem, your doctor should be able to remove it for you or at least recommend some drops that would help.

And that is exactly what I did.
The doc grabbed some kind of a vacuum cleaning tube and have it suck all the chunks of earwax out.

    Hi,

Have you ever heard that ringing sound in sometimes? Ever wonder what that was? Well it is known as tinnitus. And is a common ear infection that causes many people to suffer. It is something that most feel is not easily curable. But it is. There are certain things that you can do right now that will help you get rid of it.

Tinnitus is something that you should not leave alone. If you do it may create further problems in the future. So instead of doing nothing you need to start following this simple tip. You have to clean your ears. It is very important that you start cleaning out your ears regularly. Over time our ears build up with ear wax and other bacteria from the air. So it is crucial that you keep them clean just like any other part of your body. Your ears are no different and should be well taken care of. All you need do is put a little water in each ear and tilt your head. This will help break up the wax and allow it to fall out.
