Appearing at a Christmas promotion event yesterday in a shopping center, Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) demonstrated eye-catching body painting by having a makeup artist paint a poinsettia on her upper chest. Having grown up in Toronto, Canada, Christine expressed that she was interested in body painting as a student, but her mother was never fond of her getting tattoos or images drawn on the body. Hence, this was her first time experiencing body painting.

New TVB legal drama, Friendly Fire <法網狙擊>, premiered on December 18. One scene in the second episode, which was broadcast on Wednesday evening this week, featured Christine’s character seducing Michael Tse’s (謝天華) character in a car. In the drama, this car scandal incident is actually a prank played on Michael’s character by Tavia Yeung (楊怡) and Christine’s characters as a birthday surprise. Christine revealed that when they initially filmed the scene back in the summer, it quickly became a topic of hot discussion, which has caused her mother to misunderstand the entire situation. At the time, she had felt wrongly accused, and had cried over the misunderstanding.

Speaking of the recent broadcast of her car scandal scene with Michael, Christine said that she does not know whether her mother has seen it. However, she does hope her mother has watched it, so it is clear that the scene was only for filming purposes. Christine further remarked that she has now learned how to better deal with negative tabloids. “I always keep everything to myself, not knowing how to express things. I should have confidence. If I didn’t do anything wrong, I should not be afraid!”
