well yes it is true that there is no alternative that is economically viable but what car companies can do is to actually refine the car engines and make them more fuel economical. i mean if they tried and spent more money they could make engines that run 100mpg or even more its just it will cost them a lot of money to make.
(off topic) nascar runs wit h2o. so....uh....i guess.........sigh.......yea.........um.........yea, lol. running wit water.........sounds good, but they gotta have the tech to keep the water from freezing during cold winter days...or else.......the car is done.
japanese has really done it but wots the efficiency like it needs electricity for the generator it surely is a sustainable form of power generationfor transport but the energy is still not balanced give another ten yrs and hopefully we can see more of these on the streets another alternative is to used compressed air to drive a car, aussies are doin that now this seems to be a pretty good MSc project
Heck, they've been talking about these new ways of betting petroleum products since I was a kid (way back in the 60's). I'm waiting on the miniature nuclear perpetual reactor, that is, an engine that never needs refueling for the life of the car. LOL... Ralph
