I'm now in my final year project doing a 3 wheel car. The only problem i have is how to manually make the body shell of a 3 wheel car. I'm using the fiberglass mix epoxy material.

I asked some of the seniors that have done this things before. They said that they use plywood as the base then apply the iron next on it and then finally apply the mixture of the material on it.

However, my adviser wants me to make the body shell in different method. now i'm running out of idea. Please help

    what are the design criterias?

cant you just weld a frame and rivet some aluminum sheets on it?

    are you studying automotive design?

if it was me i would mould your car body from clay then vaccum form it. or for even more accuracy build your car in cad such as alias or rhino then mill it out from foam and then vacuum form it but that would be the more expensive option.

    what degree are you studying?:smiling:
