The Hong Kong Film Awards recently announced "Raging Fire" as the Best Picture at its 40th edition.

The film, directed by the late Benny Chan, won four accolades at the prestigious event, held on 17 July, including a posthumous Best Director award for the late filmmaker, who passed away in 2020 following his battle with cancer.

The Best Director award was accepted by Andy Lau on behalf of the Chan family, who then read a speech written by the director's wife - thanking the organiser and expressed that the award has completed her husband's life and career.

The other two categories won by "Raging Fire" are Best Editing (Curran Pang), and Best Choreography (Donnie Yen, Ku Huen Chiu, Tanigaki Kenji, Li Chung Chi).

Despite the big win, it was the Anita Mui biopic "Anita" that won the most accolades, including Best New Performer for Louise Wong, who played the late pop diva, and Best Supporting Actress to Malaysian actress Fish Liew for playing her sister.

The other three are in the technical categories, which are Best Visual Effects, Best Costume and Make-Up Design, and Best Sound Design.
