Seriously! The older you get, the more expensive the textbooks. :(

I think the best deal you could get is when you buy them off of other people who've already taken the course. Unfortunately for me, this year most of my classes updated their textbook editions so I'm forced to buy the new ones.

 

can't u just go buy the textbooks, photocopy it and refund it?

I mean it'd be more feasible if you got it from the library to copy a few pages... but copying the whole text would probably end up costing you more than if you were to buy the book... -lol

don't need to for highschool since school lets us borrow the books so yeah

 

School normally lets us borrow books but I'd rather buy my own so I can scribble all over then and attack it with my highlighter!! Muahahaha -lol

 

wow peachey..u buy txt books when u're in highskoool?? that sux..and u don't have to photocopy books urself..u can bring it to like kinkos and they'll do it..but then i thoguth it was illegal...damn profs..always make a new edition after editing like 1 sentence..

 

^ yeh i think your allowed a copy for personal use or something, before its a copyright issue
