ATV (HK - Cantonese) live streaming

Here we go again. Thought I would create a thread for ATV as well. As usual, keep in mind that these things can stop transmitting from one day to the other, so enjoy while it lasts.

All credit goes to the publishers of these streams, so I would like to thank them for sharing these channels with us.


Option 1:
[HIDE]Here are the steps for SopCast (P2PTV software):
1. Download SopCast: http://www.sopcast.com/download/
2. Obvioulsy install and run it.
3. Paste one of the following links into the "Address" field:

ATV
sop://broker1.sopcast.com:3912/6010

ATV HD
sop://117.135.141.178:3920/4393

Option 2:

For US based people (might work in other countries as well), an ATV stream can be found here (not the best quality):

Option 3:
[HIDE]For the brave at heart, there is also a P2PTV stream through TVAnts. The quality can be as good as "Option 1", but as with torrents, your mileage may vary. It depends how many people are sharing etc etc. So here are the basic steps:
- Download TVAnts from here and also read the info: http://www.myp2p.eu/softwareitem.php?softwareid=4&part=software
- Install and run it.
- Go to the Search tab and type in the word "ATV" (without quotes).
- Click on the "Search TV" button.
- Double-click on the channel that has the highest rate and quality (might take some trial and error to find a good one).
- Now sit and wait.

You might need to tweak TVAnts depending on your network. If you know what you are doing, then check the Tools menu -> Settings. Otherwise feel free to ask or to use Google.[/HIDE]

I added instructions for SopCast.

 

WCETV's stream is actually some ATV channel feed that is shown in the U.S. It mainly features reruns in 2 12-hour blocks. Obviously, it is not the same as what is shown in Hong Kong.

Is this all live? I am searching for an good stream for my father in holland

 

Yes it is live from HK. So currently 7 hours difference (2pm in Holland would be 9pm in HK). The quality is fine unless you want to watch this on a big TV screen or PC monitor.

Btw, I just added a new SopCast link for ATV HD.

 

Hello Thanks for posting the link here. I was wondering is the sopcast ATV link still working or is it me having problem connecting to it?

 

The ATV HD links for SopCast are dead, so I removed them. The normal ATV channel is still working fine on SopCast (just tested it).
