It would help if you actually get that Japanese anime raw sound clip. I was about to use SoundHound to check but since you mentioned you played it on a piano, it may not recognise it.
i dont remember the name of the anime either. it's been like almost 20 years. i remember the main character was a female hero, like super girl or something.
You sure have some skills in terms of being able to recall the music (playing out the notes from memory)
