Wrong thread, sorry. And erm....try eggs? I've heard it helps the hair somehow, not sure how that works though..
well....what about your skin dood??? dont take a bath/shower everyday... take a bath every month....or your skin is gonna chap
The dry hair dilemma! I used to have very thick and dry hair when I was a kid. That's because I was using very harsh 2 in 1shampoos (back then, i dont think there were that many varieties to choose from!) and always swimming in sea/pool water and under the sun alot. Never knew about conditioner!! LOL But I stopped that kind of lifestyle when I moved to Australia. Now I got nice silky hair.....and here's why: Your hair is one way to define your health so to speak. They are just dead cell but it tells you how healthy you are on the inside. If it's dry and breaks easily, that's because you are dehydrated (most of the time) and so start drinking more water in the first place!!!! I add a slice of lemon or lime in my every litre of water i drink (just to ease me to drink up more)..... Environment is also a factor (as my problem was).....extreme sunlight with no hats on and chlorine water....you can imagine how bad it can do to your hair! There are alot of hair masks available which might help you. I don't use them personally as I already condition my hair everyday which I think is more than enough. But I do go to a hair salon and do a treatment once every 2-6 months. (You can also do that at home by leaving your hair conditioner or intensive hair treatment on, cling wrap it (so it doesnt go to your towel or clothes), and wrap a hot towel around your head for 30 mins) Occasional hair/scalp massage is also good for your hair. Helps blood circulation and healthy cell grow. I hope it helps you
go into a salon and go do a oil treatment for your hair, helps improve the smoothness and make it less dry
im lazy to use conditioner as it means spending a longer time in the shower. i use leave-on hair serum bout 15mins after i towel-dried my hair. it solves the frizz problem. -tongue2
is your hair really thin, because to me it sounds like it is if its falling out so easily. or maybe your not conditioning right (remember apply only on the ends of the hair) but yea you washing it everyday is doing you more harm then good as its taking away all the natural oils which nourishes as hiake mentioned. which results in dry hair. it could also be your diet as this greatly effects your hair, remember lots of fruits and veges =)
Dude.. I think u should wash your hair every time after sports.. If not your hair really do stoinks.. As for me, I'll wash my hair everytime after im done with my badminton or gym.. The rest of the days.. I'll just wash it every 2 days once.. It works for me
try this brand "ojon" they have a product call hair restorative hair treatment, its the best thing ever. i've been using it for a few years now. oprah even rave about this product. you can buy it at sephora.
^^ conditinter makes it a lot softer, but u know if u dont wash it out or something, doesnt it like harden , and stuff? ( i like the shiny hair when its on tho )
i just want to add that wax or clay like gatsby shouldnt not damage hair. Hair spray does though cause it it alcohol based. My hairstylist told me but i use it anyways XD i counteract it with $160 shampoo and conditioner LOL its hard to style long hair with just wax :( liva mentioned hair masks before... try something like avacado, extra virgin olive oil, honey, eggs or mayo even, they all make your hair softer and each does something different. Some adds shine while others add strength, or softness etc. you can easily make them yourself. oh and i forgot - always use conditioner everytime after u shampoo... or u hair gets fried after lol. and if u want your hair to get better really fast, just go buy some salon grade shampoo and conditioner like i have. I used to swim a lot and use crap like pantene and fructis.... KILLED my hair. I'll admit pantene was decent but once i tried the natural salon shampoos, and the next time i used pantene, my hair came out a lot dryer lol. Its a little pricey but i think its worth it. Hair can change ur image not that it matters cause u have a wife but for single guys like me i cant save that money hahaha
washing your hair everyday is not good for you generally even if you use everyday shampoos... you wash all the natural oils out of your hair... and also alot of the commercial shampoos out there are cheap because they are high in ph... its already not that great for the hair as some products can damage your hair... thats why its better to use professional shampoos... i use Keratase.. its expensive but it smells great!
