I was happy for everyone, but when Leo Ku was talking, while crying, it was funny and it also made me cry but I am so proud of Fama, loved their rap songs!
Ok .. I don't know about individual talent since I am not a big fan of these artists. However, I just listened to all these winning songs on youtube and quite frankly, they're sucked big time. The lyrics are good but too wordy .. so much that the music is dead .. it's like someone reading the lines than singing it. The only two that I think stood out are Hins and Hacken; the rest just don't stand out at all. I am not sure if such style is the trend these days. If so, God, has the music industry gone that bad? A good song only needs a beautiful melody, voice, and simple yet meaningful lyric. No need for a mouthful or funky.
^ a good song for me....all depends on the tune...i dun really attention to the lyrics....... but i see whut your saying though...some of hk mooisc all sound the same sometimes... and thas when ya move into k-pop and j-pop for a change....haha...-lol
^well ... k-pop is not very good these days too ... as if they've run out of juice sorta speak. Not just the music, even the drama is the same .. storyline and stuffs are getting worst each year for Korean. HK is in the same boat. After a while, people can't create anymore but to meet demands, trash are being put out left and right. SAD.

Have anyone notice they were all being hurried the whole entire show? I really think that was really bad.. Seems like TVB is to cheap to buy more time on air to award their singers. But I love Leo and Miriam speech it was so emotional, even I cried.
TVB drama isn't as good as it used to be in the old days. Thus, a lot of remake. These days, storyline is predictable and weak or actors/actresses fuck up the acting. I can't think of one memorable drama from TVB in recent years. Even Moonlight Resonance can't beat the old series "chen ching" and "quay chik". I don't know but I find a lot of the writing for the tvb drama these days are so shallow overall.

i think gem really deserved the award... saw a few of her live perf and she was really really good! its been quite long since hk had such potential singer.
i felt so bad for but at the same time i laughed so hard...she must of not paid attention to the show at all i mean theres other "kwan" singers in the crowd too i guess she knew she was winning thats why she went up...funny the next award was hers too must of been her most embarassing moment on TV. that goes for all awards shows have you not watch the oscars? when the speech is too long the band starts playing music...if everyone took their time with speeches the award show would never end!
Yeah, it has not been my first time seeing people get rushed but I didn't like why they did that. But, it's television and time is money? I guess.. lol.
the show was indeed very emotional at the end, but i have to say that kay needs to work on her "thank you" speeches, seemed kinda shallow to me compared to others nevertheless, she did deserved the awards and i loved her album! :ugh2:
^You are right. I'm not sure if she was pausing a lot so she could hold her emotions in or what not. But I do find it lacking some content. But don't get me wrong, she does deserve the award. Speaking of speeches, I absolutely loved the entire moment with Miriam and her speech. It wasn't rehearsed, but you can tell that every word she spoke was all genuine. Not to poke fun, but when Miriam found out Joey didn't win and instead it was her...her facial look looked as though she had a sudden tummy ache. XD hehehe....but anyways, CONGRATZ to Miriam!!
LOL at Jade didnt leo ku already win one of those before? how do they determin who wins teh awards anyway? public vote?
