Three Hong Kong stars were recently awarded honorary titles by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. As reported on Mingpao, singer Jacky Cheung, actor-producer Louis Koo and comedian Wong Cho Lam were recently awarded by the academy - with the former being given the honorary doctorate, while Louis and Wong were awarded honorary academicians. Speaking to the media about the recognition, Jacky expressed, "When I was a child, I only knew that I had to study well and read a lot to get a Ph.D. I didn't think I would have that chance. When the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts awarded me the title of Honorary Doctorate, I didn't know what to do. I only know that we must try our best to do better in the future."
