One of the most satisfying series after HOG. I really hope more of Roger and Sonija combination in future series...they just clicks. These two veteran still rocks. Their acting is so natural and so real and easy. The best part of Sonija is when she was handcuffed...just replay how she reacted... very very professional. Hope someone will post a complete DVD ready of this series. Cheers

But in some places, depending on where you live; one can have money and you still cannot buy. It's not about the cost obviously, it's about taste. I'm sure every Chinese person, at least from the native grounds can understand lol. Roast pork, baby roast pork or not, the taste on HK grounds cannot compare. Same w/ shek kai pigeon, and pigeon as a whole. lol... Same with milk tea. Foreign grounds, san fran, vancouver and such cannot mimic. God damn, even the HK mcdonalds make great milk tea. lol I'm in the rest business, so I am a tad picky. lol.
Yeah pretty much. The water in HK and in America do not compare, unless you were in very very specific areas. lol. I will say that most parts of the 'continental' USA have crappy tap potable water. For HK water, it seems treated and the taste is there. W/O going too in depth, I'm blessed to have lived, be living in an area where I can drink water out of the faucet (no r/o/di filter), but still as you know, the boiling water factor never forgoes in a Chinese family. The milk tea thing is still a secret IMO. I've tried milk tea at plenty spots around HK, even McDonald's HK and I can say the consensus is that the milk tea is just so special. Special enough to fall under the same category. I can only say from experiences, traveling to Vancouver and to many spots and places in the USA, I cannot find that taste at all. For ingredients? I dunno. I'd like to really find out the secret, IF THERE IS. Do they really use stockings? What's the mixture of the tea leaves? lol... Roast pork tastes come close, but for real, that HK taste is pretty damn hard to duplicate. It's not that the stuff they offer in the USA (depending on city) not meet, it's just that it's tough to create that taste. Even a simple won ton mein taste better in HK. lol. Just my opinion though.. I miss it, like they say, after eating it, you'll go back searching for the taste. lol -worship:laugh::wavey:-rockon
Ehhh...Australian tap water taste a bit salty...and that might explain their nature too. Ingredients, preparation, water, climate and the chef create a different result. Me too love HK NaiChah and IcedRedBean very much...the PohLooYau also is very yummy. By the way the HKD5 for a stick of fish ball with little spicy is pretty cool too. Roast piglet is no way comparable to huge roast pork. The piglet is crispy, and tender like roast duck. However the killing of piglet is very cruel...imagine just a couple of months or so on earth and brought to table.

I believe the secret is cleanliness..in HK/China....no such thing as cleaning (cost savings)...as I can attest from working in the restaurant business....and there lies the secret...thats the added special ingredient (taste) u cant find anywhere else ..... just like all the lead (cost savings) in toys Free Tibet!!!! -woot2
