i played the first DVD link on megavideo and i totally think it's not DVDRETAIL still download it to see if im wrong, but the quality is like those old HK films in the 90s, the color isnt consider to be modern DVD nowadays, it has more red than green, and not comparable to the DVD screenshot u posted up there. i can hear some clicky sound in the beginning before the movie starts. Unless its supposed to be made that way otherwise i have nothing else to say
^ the shots are for the mandarin version. i checked out the DVD on a DVD player and the quality was just as bad, BUT it might just be this particular copy...
I agree. I just finished dling and watch a bit of it. The picture quality doesn't seem like dvd retail as suggested. The chinese hardsubs are somewhat blurry and the audio seems "echo-y" in some scenes. But, I'm not sure either if they are going for a "retro" type of filming since it's a remake? I'll probably check back later to see if there will be another version uploaded.

this one is just the same as the first link OP posted anyone watched this in HK??? you tell us about the quality lol, whether it's like the 90s style or modern DVD quality i guess you want some old school feeling, just watch the current canto version, otherwise wait?
