Yvonne Sullivan was brought back to life by a telling-off from her husband

Dying Yvonne Sullivan was brought back to life by a telling-off from her husband.
Yvonne, 28, went into a coma after she lost their baby in childbirth and contracted blood poisoning.
After two weeks doctors warned distraught husband Dom that they were thinking of switching off her life support machine.
But devoted Dom, 37, was having none of it.

He held his wife's hand and shouted: "You start fighting - don't you dare give up on me now.
"I've had enough, stop mucking around and start breathing. Come back to me."
Two hours later Yvonne started breathing on her own. Five days later she regained consciousness and was home within a week. She has made a full recovery.
Yvonne said yesterday: "It's a miracle. I owe him so much. His rollicking saved my life. I never liked getting told off by Dom. Something inside me just clicked and I began to fight again."
Sandwich maker Yvonne, of Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, became pregnant shortly after marrying Dom in September 2006.
But their unborn child had anaemia and had regular blood transfusions in the womb.
Yvonne went into labour two months early last July and son Clinton was born at St Michael's hospital in Bristol.
But he died from a blood infection. Yvonne got septicaemia and her organs started shutting down. Grief-stricken Dom stayed by her bed and watched her condition deteriorate.
He lovingly held her hand, stroked her hair and talked to her about their honeymoon in Cyprus and their family and friends.
Then doctors gave lorry driver Dom the news that his wife, who has an-eight-year-son, might not make it.
Dom said: "I got angry. I grabbed her hand and began shouting. I gave her a bloody good rollicking."
He added: "I'd already had to explain to my stepson Ryan that his brother Clinton had died.
"He said he would be cross with the doctors if they let mummy go to heaven.
"I kept telling her to pull through. I came back two hours later and she had started to breath. It was incredible. Sometimes you find powers you just didn't know you had."

LIFE SUPPORT
Elaine Esposito, from Florida, was in the longest recorded coma of 37 years. She failed to wake up after an operation in 1941 aged six and died aged 43.

and wow 19-year coma ... missed so much of your life. it must be hard to adjust after, lots of things have changed in 19 years =\
