Yumiko Cheng Still to Recover from Clothing Disaster Yumiko Cheng's latest wardrobe malfunction while performing in Canada follows her previous clothing disaster at last year's Tung Wah Charity Show, where her pants fell off while she performed acrobatics. After the traumatic experience of having her tube top slipping and revealing her nipple, Yumiko returned to work yesterday accompanied by her colleagues as they rehearsed for tonight's how. But when facing the media, it was evident that Yumiko had yet to recover from the incident. Yumiko earlier performed at the New Talent Singing Awards: Toronto Audition Show which was broadcasted live. While performing her song 'Dance Dance' (舞吧!舞吧), her tube top slipped down without her realising and so, the footage of this incident was uploaded onto the internet and became youtube's most viewed clip. After returning to Hong Kong, Yumiko was seen to be extremely unhappy and she closed herself off from the public for a few days. Yesterday, when being interviewed, Yumiko appeared to be nervous and she continuously stuttered. At 3:15pm yesterday, Yumiko left home accompanied by her manager and made her way to TVB City for rehearsal. During this time, Yumiko's face was expressionless and she refused to answer any of the media's questions. When getting off the car at her arrival, Yumiko, wearing Dior sunnies, was surrounded by reporters but she did not say a word. In the rehearsal room, Yumiko chatted to Kenny Kwan and Mandy Chiang but she was seen to be not smiling much. When asked how she felt, Yumiko replied, "Let's not talk about it!" At this event, she will be performing 'Eastern Jewel' (東方之珠) with Dave Wong and Alan Tam and 'My Pride' (我的驕傲) with Joey Yung. Yumiko commented, "Today is my first day back, I have rested for a few days now. It is time for me to concentrate on my work. (Do you want more work?) I hope so..." When asked about how she felt, stuttering, Yumiko replied, "I hope... (Still shocked?) It makes me more nervous. (Do you feel uncomfortable when looking at cameras now?) I should be able to get over it!" Afterwards, Kenny Kwan told reporters, "She feels OK at the moment. It is the past, let's not bring it up." During an interview with Scoop, Yumiko thanked her family and work mates for their support. http://ent.sina.com.hk/cgi-bin/news/show_n...d=206420&ct=pic
More like she's unpopular and trying to get some attention by showing some skin. It's just some flesh. What is she famous for again?
i think she did it on purpose just to get publicity. it's not like i don't like her or anything, but ir happened before too. so, since that incident, she should have known to wear more protection. anyways, it's been a while, i hope she doesn't get too too dragged down by this incident to ruin her work.
Well life have to move on. Being upset over this incident their whole life wouldn't do them any good, plus soon people would forget about her incident when they see another over exposer from other celebrities.
