This is the world's largest shopping-mall and it is a BIG fail.
All because the planning and vision of the builders are wrong

Old news. Another example of Chinese hubris. This had always been a problem with us Chinese, and is frankly our biggest Achilles heel; our never ending need for face. We have this incredible urge or desire to be the biggest, or best of something. It leads many to do spectacular but often meaningless and wasteful things, like this mall. It would be interesting to see what eventually happens to this place in 20 years.
