This has been something that had been bugging me for a while, but just about every zombie movie makes the same mistake. Every anti-Zombie defensive line is always a "final" line of defense. That is, it is the one and only defensive line in a camp and there is always never a secondary or tertiary line of defense to fall back on or retreat to. Further, once a line is breached, the whole line is lost; there seems to never be any defensive zones within a line. How come Hollywood never seems to get that that's not how any military functions? -rolleyes Just watched World War Z, and when the Zombies breached the main wall in Israel, they were able to overrun Jerusalem literally in minutes because of this.
zombie elevator up to space, nowhere is safe i didn't like world war z , the classics of the 80's are so much better then this current gen.. they really take out the fear and dread and replace with mindless action.
this was no doubt a dumb moment all these bitches singing songs when there is literally a apocalypse right on the other side of the wall lol.
What got me is the futility of having just a single wall to stop a horde of mindless eating automatons. A simple bunker system in front of that wall would have taken care of all of them; soldiers could shoot out but cannot get attacked. Moreover, armored vehicles could have just as easily run them over by the thousands and then gone back to refuel. But I guess that would have ruined the story line. -bigsmiles
the movie doesn't do the book justice! I mean the movie was ok in my opinion, but definitely not the same.
