Busy with work, Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) and Leanne Li (李亞男) barely have time for each other since their marriage. As Cho Lam is currently busy with work in Mainland China, the couple met up in Shenzhen recently as a middle point. Meeting up for afternoon tea, Cho Lam told the reporters that this was a rare occasion. “Having the time for afternoon tea has already become a desperate wish for us. We had 20 days off for our honeymoon, but after that, we went straight back to work. One is always in the Mainland, and one is always in Hong Kong.” Cho Lam, who is working on expanding his career in Mainland China, said he can’t give up this career opportunity. He said he is currently writing a new comedy film, which he will also direct. Observant of the comedy industry of Mainland China, which lacks depth, Cho Lam said he wants to present a different kind of comedy for the Mainland audience. “Many Chinese comedy films are very funny, but after walking out of the cinema you’ll feel that it lacks something.
