Yes ... having the gene means your probability of getting breast cancer is very high yet taking such drastic preventive measure is a bit too much. Don't ya'll think?
Not really. Given that breasts and a uterus aren't really a necessity organ like heart and lungs, preemptive removal to prevent an impending life threatening disease is sound judgment. She made a very smart choice.
