Hi, recently my winavi has been acting up. Normally i can convert the rmvb files to avi using WinAVI 8.0

i converted all the Tai Chi from episode 1-20, but 21-25 cannot be converted...I always stops at 5%, no matter if i tried converting it to HD or XVID...

i tried using the 7.6 version of winavi and it successfully converts but no sounds...

I tried reinstalling it and such...used 3 different computers, XP, XP x64, and Vista and all 3 seems to screw up.

    Any idea what happened?

nope, i tried at least 10 different Rmvb files

i think WInAVI is at the point where it wont convert to avi anymore

cuz rmvb to dvd has no sound

hmm strange, could it be that the rmvb files are a bit faulty. u tried converting ones which u could convert before?

try installing the older software program which worked with the rmvb files, also if u have the new realplayer, i suggest uninstalling it completely and by installing a codec pack such as k-lite or storm and it should then work.

winavi 8.0 seems to have problem with realplayer version 11.
try install version 10/ codecs from ver 10.

use winavi mp4 converter for psp format, as there is an option i think on that which converts directly to the psp format.

just delete realplayer 11, and install an alternative, realplayer 11 clashes with the winavi codec for some odd reason.

well apparently realplayer 10 should work fine, if not just get an alternative such as those codec packs and it should be fine.
