WinAvi problem!!! T-T

  1. ok... i tried to google abt this problem but i had not luck... pls help -cry2

i've been trying to convert these rmvb files into avi files... n for some reason it finishes at 99% but that's ok coz i dun read the credits in the end anyway... but for a few files the process would get stuck at 68% for a while... then pops the msg saying file successfully completed... n only 68% was done T-T has anyone had this problem with winavi??

  2. maybe the rmvb files are dodgy? that format usually gives me problems when converting. i only use it to convert .divx files. do you get the same problem with any other format other than rmvb?

I use this program to convert rmvb to DVD only. If it has completed 99% then the .vol file is OK. If less then 99% it is likely the rmvb file is bad.

  5. hmmm... i just tried to convert it into mpeg2... but it "completed" at 80%... maybe it is a dodgy file :(

    OKie kiddies.....

    Here's the fix....

True, it is a codec issue, hence I would suggest using the CCCP codec (google CCCP) as this runs smoothly with WinAVI.

I don't have any issues when creating AVIs, WMVs, etc.

haf u tried re-dl the file?
cos rmvb is good/bad depending how u look at it

good is that if its missing bits, it'll skip over it and continue playing, and if the missing bit is small enuff, u wont' really notice it

if u've got other file types like avi/mpg i think they just die there... lol

btw, what file r u converting
since there sooooooo many nice ppl in syd, i'm sure one of them can convert it and send it to u =)
