Hello, I recently reformatted my PC so I think there's probably something missing. Well I currently have Win Avi Converter 8.0, I use it to convert the rmvb files to mpg(VCD). When the file was done, I would play it over using Real Player before burning it. Well the problem is the video is fine, but no audio. I have downloaded the k-lite codec, it didn't work. Then I downloaded the AC3Filter, but also didn't work. I have also re-installed Real Player and Win-Avi Converter, but nothing. Could it be I don't know how to tune it the codec programs?
easy fix...uninstall real player 11 if you have it and install real player 10 instead. if that's not working then i dunno what's wrong....remember it's version 10 you need, version 11 (the current one on the website) doesn't work with WinAvi. heres the dl for version 10: http://www.oldversion.com/download.php?idlong=c4bc957f865ed1816ef28179063ac7fa
ye reinstalling does not solve the problem as the problem with the audio i believe lies within realplayer 11. so uninstall realplayer 11 and install realplayer 10 or just uninstall realplayer 11 and just reconfigue the codecs for k-lite media player and u should be fine.
Ok so I uninstalled Real Player 11 and installed Real Player 10 again and it worked! Thank you all so much!
