William Chan (陈伟霆) and Zhao Liying (赵丽颖) fans have been having a field day ever since the announcement that William had split with Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍), his ex-girlfriend of five years. The Legend of Zu <蜀山战纪之剑侠传奇> couple, along with their costar Nicky Wu (吴奇隆), went on the popular Hunan TV variety show Happy Camp <快乐大本营> to promote their upcoming series. Fans witnessed incredible couple chemistry between William and Liying while they played games on the show, exposing their close relationship. Fans went crazy when William expressed that his “most amazing” scene in The Legend of Zu was his kissing scene with Liying. Upon hearing this Nicky, who is also the series’ producer, said, “I didn’t know about this scene at first. Liying and William added it themselves!” Afterwards, William and Liying were asked to do a dance. The rumored couple immediately performed a hip hop routine, sending fans to a frenzy. When William performed well during a ball game, Liying immediately shouted, “Amazing! You’re my male god!” William, Liying, and Nicky’s episode of Happy Camp will air on October 3. The Legend of Zu, a story about a team of swordmasters battling evil, is a television drama adaptation of the unfinished dark fantasy novel Sword Warriors of Mount Zu <蜀山剑侠传>, written by the late Huanzhu Louzhu (还珠楼主). The novel was first adapted into a Hong Kong film by Tsui Hark (徐克) in 1983, and was remade again in 2001. TVB also adapted the novel into a television drama called The Gods and the Demons of Zu Mountain <蜀山奇俠> in 1990. The new adaptation, which is produced by Nicky Wu, consists of 54 episodes and is slated to premiere on Anhui TV on January 15, 2016. Creds: Oncc
