I've always pondered on how people would react in different situations. People might say "I will sacrifice myself no matter what situation I'm in". You don't know how you'll react under different circumstances. But given the real situation in front of you, people might react differently. Given Situation #1 Your enemy threatens you to sacrifice yourself or your family. Situation #2 A stranger gives you a million dollars if you sacrifice one of your family members. Situation #3 You and your spouse are walking across the street when suddenly you see a car about to hit you. Would you save yourself first or your spouse? OR You were the driver. Something has gone wrong with the brakes. You are about to crash. Would you turn the car and make it crash to your side or your loved one? Ok. I'm not good at making up situations. Anyways, any thoughts?

Situation #1 Depends on what my enermy threatens me with (but i don't have enermy)... but if it's something serious i'd call the police... if not i'll just kick the lil peewee out the door... Situation #2 i'd try to sacrifice my cousin muahahaha... Situation #3 i always wait for green lights... but if it's some crazy car with no breaks coming then i'm sure my bf would notice the car before me i'm always half dreaming... OR my bf always drives when we go out... i don't even have car :(

You have to be in that situation and then You will act, regarding to Your actual state of mind. human actions are most of the times irrational and sometimes rational for the crossing the street while a car is speeding at me and my gal i´d take it out with my 18 Dragon-Subduing Palms, piece a cake =) and for the car without brakes i make sure i and my gf have tightened our safetybelts, pull the handbrake and count on my airbags ^^
Situation #1 myself, i guess. Situation #2 meh, i'm doing fine now without the million dollars. Situation #3 hm, cant i push my husband and get outta the way myself too? but if i love my husband i lot i guess i'd sacrifice myself. OR well everyone turns the car for themselves to be safe on impluse. it's not like i'd have so much time to think about it...... but i guess if i DID have the time and i loved my husband a lot, sure i'll sacrifice myself......? i dont like these type of questions lol
