    Wildchild 野仔 - Chokollection (2011)
    Cantonese, Hong Kong.

Having won their first major award (Best Group Bronze Prize at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards 2010) in their nine-year existence, Hong Kong pop band Wildchild is raring to take a bigger step forward this year with some new releases and live gigs in the pipeline. The first to come is their latest EP called Chokollection, a title coined in reference to "chok", the colloquial expression from Hong Kong describing posers. The band's frontman DJ Jim is responsible for the lyrics on the entire EP, which is filled with their trademark quirkiness and pleasant irreverence. The cool new songs on Chokollection include the catchy first plug "The Chok Story (Part I)" (featuring in-demand musician Hanjin Tan), "Hong Kong Buildings" (a social commentary on the city's housing policies), and "I Love U" (featuring Malaysian singer Jeanie Lee and paranormal phenomenon expert Wan Hoi).
