Why is a japanese TV station character being sold at an american dept store?

    Ok for those who don't know who Domokun is, he is a character mascot for one of the japanese tv station

    for those who dont know what Target is, that is basically another type of Walmart, but they are only local to the United States.


    WHAT IN THE WORLD. THey are using Domokun to promot halloween at Target this year.

    1) Target isn't only local to the US
    2) Obviously both the TV station (or whoever owns the right to the mascot) and Target will make money out of it. WIN-WIN!

    we have target here at AUS but no walmart.
