    its sucha commercial hype.. every country wants to be host nowadays just to earn cash from the tourist people blah! and suddenly everything is 10 times more expensive >.<

    i rather stay home... i dont think thees really a point to go i mean cheer at home and what not is good enough, plus you pretty much get a better view on tv, unless your seats are pretty freaking good

    ^ that goes for all sporting events though..... close up views of every play...... i doubt i will ever attend the olympics... just seems like it would just be quite boring......

    so staying home and watching the olympic sports will just do for me

    I went to beijing like 1 1/2 yrs ago and it was pretty crowded already, so it's going to be even more crazy, There're going to be tons of people going back to visit the motherland, along with other foreigners. Hate being in a crowd, all the pushing and human traffic jams.

    yep if it was the fifa world cup i would go too! :yes:

    but for the olympics probably not coz i have uni at that time. So i guess im going to watching it on Tv too!
