so I don't know if I have a problem or what but I just get so fascinated watching curling. Is there something wrong with me?
well if you're looking for an answer...hehe so yea i dont get the game except for the part where you scream things to make your teammates broom in a certain way to guide the rock to the centre of that target thing
curling... the broom sport. To me its boring i know how its played but it reminds me of golf. nothing much to do. "look at the fantastic replay! he brushed fast enough to hit the yellow out"
no u use a broom and sweep to knock away other pins to score points. nothing like golf as boring as golf.
yea golf isnt boring. especially when you have a golf car. my friend got tired of playing all day that we starte to play chicken with carts. and since hey didnt go that fast and getting charge for denting them wasnt an issue, we would just smash into each other and then move onto sumo golfcart. fun times
Curling actualyl takes quite some skill, and is very challenging. ITs just not many ppl are into it. participation wise
i think curling is mostly a canadian game. i got satellite here and they are only shown on the canadian chanenls.
Curling is pretty interesting to watch, I used to watch it alot with my dad and we would try to figure out what the objective of the game was and what the rules were -laugh
it must be really difficult. you are basically sliding a really heavy smooth rock on ice and trying to get it land in a very specific spot.
It is sort of like marbles in a way. They should give the curlers one really big stone to use once in a while like the big marble
umm actually its world wide they do have tournys around the world get closest to the ermmm i forget button or sommin yeah so get ur stone closes to the button, each round i guess u can say is called an end i think man i havent watched it in a while lol but yeah canada usualy does well them european countries play well too i think th estates has a team, its the one sport they suck at... that and five pin bowling
actually, it is originally a scottish sport, and it became so big in canada because of the celtic influences in the maritimes. And apparently the US has put more effort into the sport because the women won the silver medal at the world championships, and the US men are currently in first place. And I would have to say the strangest country to have a curling team would have to be japan. Just doesnt seem like something they would enjoy.
