there are lots of myths like if you pull out a white hair that it will split and turn into two hairs (why wouldn't that work with normal colored hair than) or that if you trim hair, it will grow faster or if you shave than your hair gets thicker, than why dont people apply that same principle to their scalp all MYTHS
actually constant shaving does make ur hair thicker... coz ur body would try to grow more hair to protect itself... n the regrowth would feel stubbly coz the fine tips of the hair have been shaved off... but as for pulling out one grey hair causing more grey hair to grow back... i don't think it's true... unless u get really really stressed over one grey hair then causing ur other hair to turn grey...
my friend pulled out her white hairs and she said a lot more came out than before but she's always had white hairs, and I think she just started to notice them more ..
white hair does grow back just cause your head is producing the white hair doesn't mean more or less will appear just where you pulled it, it will continue to grow (like plucking your eye brows) but i can say, that your white hairs can turn back to your original color i say this with personal experiance i get white hairs when i'm stressed i mean they dont appear till long down the line but i pulled out a white hair once that wasn't fully white the end was white, but where it went towards the root it turned back to black and that was cause i use to be very stressed over the whole piano music theory exam stuff for a whole year and the following year i completely quit piano, and i had a LOT less stress therefore no more white hairs
