if you need something such as money, advice, or someone just to talk to, which parent do you go to sorry i'm not trying to be insensitive to those in single parents cases

that is soo true! I would tell my mom something secret and tells her "dont tell dad"...then dad finds out 2-3minutes later
I am more to my mom. She is very easy to talk to. Asking for money... hehehe. I don't think I ever ask. Can't really tell much secret to mom as always someone in my family member get to know in hours. Maybe she does keep the secret for a day but not the next day. My dad was a Fierce man but he grew older, it was no so bad as I grew older too. =) Anyways, I love talking to both of my parent.
lol, when I was younger, I could always get money out of my daddy lol. It was funny.. Hmm, I used to talk to my mum alot, not as much now, but I can always trust my mother with confidential things, like "guess what I heard about..." or "guess what happened..." kind of topics lol and vice versa.
I don't really bond with my mother, she's the passive-aggressive type without much reliable/useful resources. I never ask either of them for money though, get a job when I needed to spend, so I guess that partially explains why I am not a huge spender.
it's interesting since my mom was a stay at home mom i was really close to her as a kid my dad only worked, i rarely saw him so when i needed money or advice i would go to her now that i'm grown up, these past few years I've realized my mom's kinda crazy although my dad was never around, i learned that he really loved us, and he was never around because he believed that the best way he could help his family was to provide them with everything they needed, which could all be bought by money. so al he did was work, to bring money home for us now that i'm adult we talk differently now i learned my dad is actually really smart, and quite funny so now when i need help, or someone to talk to i will go to my dad over my mom anyday
It depends. If it's something that I could get in trouble for..I tell my mom. =P If it's something where I need my dad support..cause he has more power in my family.then I asked my dad.
