Whats the penalty for fighting in School?

my friend got suspended for a week for fighting does that seem severe to you, what is the punishment at your school?

 

That seems about right. I think that in addition to that a trip to the guidance counselor would also be in order.

 

Yeah its like 3-5 days for something that isnt too severe, when I was in highschool. I think it all depends on the situation.

 

i think at my school its 3 strikes and you're out/expelled.

 

i think it was suspension too... that's dumb... u get to take a break from school for doing something bad...

 

ermmmm.............. it kinda depends on the fight..... but we used to go with penalty points..... if you get 3 your parents are called in... but if its a really severe fight then the school would suspend you so it really depends

 

Well, if that was my child you assaulted, I would have you in jail. After your release (as a minor) into your parent's custody, I will sue the pants off of your folks. Suspension? That's the worst that a school can legally do to you. As the parent of a child that you assaulted, I can do far more, and I guarantee that I will be your worst nightmare. Or how's this? You've just volunteer your folks to pay for my kid's college education.

i used to think that too, that it's stupid for suspending kids that did something wrong. but now i think it's a pretty decent penalty, considering how you miss lessons and can't do the hwk you missed... which makes you fall behind in class. but then again, if you don't care about the school enough to get suspended stupidly, missing classes wouldn't be so crazy bad. =\

 

lol this reminds me of when I had a fight in elementary school... got sent to principal's office and then me n the other kid was like hell why were fighting in the first place?? -lol and we were just laughing at each other.. but in the end the principal still suspended us even tho we were coo... so our parents pickd us up and I was like yo wanna kick it at my place... play some super Nintendo -lol

it's like three suspensions and you're out. and suspensions come from fights.

however you do get to choose the choice of methods --

a phone call to your parent , ie torture and prolong death

suspension, ie hanging/drowning

detention, ie. lethal injection?? .... life-setence -shock

when i was at school u get suspended but only if teachers see it or there is a rat who dobs on you.

Penalty would be anywhere from saying sorry to each other to both getting suspended, or one side getting suspended if he was the only one who faught.

 

Expulsion by first count. My schools located in the heart of the business district of New York. [Wall Street]. Pretty harsh. Your friend has it lucky.
