well ive been discussing this in english class since we're reading the oddyssey right now. i never really thought about it until now. its pretty hard thinking up characteristics. whats your view?

there's different types of heroes im guessing by your book that you want i believe a tragic hero try searching for that on google. maybe it'll make your search a little bit easier.
A hero to me is someone who does great things in a difficult time or situation without worry of self well being. Unfortunately the word "hero" is used way too often nowadays. Example, this may offend some people, but I don't think anyone who dies in a war should be called a hero just because they are in the armed forces and is killed in action because that's what is expected in a war, casualties.
Its all in the eyes of the beholder for me. My hero can be completely different to your hero. I guess my hero is someone selfless and does things only for the greater good
