I have oily T-Zones, and that's where i get acenes the most.

    I've used neutrogena, Pro-Active, & Bior.

My face was so immune to neutrogena that it doesn't work for me anymore.
Pro-Active was too dry for my skin
For now Bior seems to work, but i don't think my skin will last long w/o a breakout.

Does anyone have any face wash recommendation? or simply tell me what kind of face wash you use.

Neutrogena foaming cleanser seems to work for me. It just prevents me from getting more acne it doesn't really get rid of it for me.

Proactiv worked occasionally for me. That is if I use it frequently but I have adapted an habit for being lazy to go to the restroom lol

Aside from using a facial cleanser you should also exfoliate once to twice a week. That should keep your skin clear for a good time. St. Ives Apricot scrub is a good choice if you're on a budget. It can also be used as a daily cleanser.

Using Proactiv but kind of harsh for face during winter time. Thinking of switching to something else.

I've been using Neostrata. It really works! Your face gets worse for the first 2 weeks and then settles down quickly...It's more $$ than usual brands, but it was designed by dermatologists...

I've been using proactive for over a year now and it's working pretty good, so I'm staying with it. I use it nightly before I go to bed.

Nivea For Men works for me. But it's more of a prevention thing, it doesn't really clear up the scars and all. It just prevents further breakouts so the skin can repair itself naturally

I'm slightly cutting down on brand cosmetics... I sooo love Clinique but found that it's a few of my favourites tend to make my skin break out. Some I decided to go natural and use home remedies.

I tend to wash my face with sugar... I know it's weird but is a good scrub and really good. Just make sure that it's organic and sugar cane sugar, you have to gently massage your face until there's no more granules. If you're using toner use Rosewater and moisterize with pure Aloe vera with drops of tea tree oil and lavender oil. My skin improved with less spots but my blemishes are still around. Trying to figure out what to do with the blemishes.

  17. i used cotton wool and warm water, im passed the acne stage now so i dont have to worry about that -sweat

It might be because of your diet. I used to have a lot of pimples when I started to go college where I hardly eat home cooked meals. Hormones changes will also lead to break out. Try to drink more plain water and eat more fruits. I did use various types of brands to cure my acne and I wasted a lot of money. Dermalogica, Neutrogena, NewYork Skin, Kiehls, Estee Lauder, Biotherm, Follow Me and etc.

If you are fine with what you are using now, try to stick to it and work out your diet plans. If your skin is dry, try to find hydrating facial product, aloe vera product may be useful for your acne to prevent inflammation. This is what I'm using now and my only problem now is to fight the scars..

You can also buy the Garnier, SOS blemish clear pen. It works for me as well.

Hope my advice here helps. =)

with pro activ u really need to condition your skin to use it effectively it dries it out alot but persist with it a while and exfoliate u will notice your skin gets alot better. Like any acne treatment if u get allergic to it then stop ie itchy or severe redness, but dryness can casue itching

i don't really have an acne problem (don't want to jinx it), a somewhat oily t-zone and use dior facewash and exfoliator, works and hydrates very well
