It can be from any movie, hollywood, hk, korean ect... My favorite romantic moment of all time is probably from the movie Storm Riders. When Wind (Ekin Cheng) and Charity (Kristy Yeung) are in the forbidden ground playing with firebugs. The song in the background, along with Andrew Lau's Wong Kar Wai-esque cinematography, (Lau was previously Wong's camera man) made the moment truly magical.
off to top of my head...: A Walk To Remember - the part where they stayed out all night to look at the stars My Sassy Girl - when she screamed to the other mountain to tell him how sorry she was
Pride and Prejudice ~ The rain scene when he proposes. Message in a Bottle ~ When Theresa is leaving and she says "So now you're just going to forget about me right?" and Garrette says "Yeah everyday"... When Harry Met Sally ~ When Harry realizes he loves Sally on New Years Eve and he's running down the streets of New York to get to the party Sally is at. He gets there and finds her and tells her "I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."
Despite the sadness of unrequited love, I absolutely adore the scene in Love Actually where he rings the bell holding the flash cards saying he'll love her forever 'til she's all shrivelly and gray. Love it, and rewind it every time I watch. There's more, but I just can't think of them at the moment...
Only 3 replies so far? I am shocked by this forum's lack of enthusiasm over a romantic subject! That is definitely a classic.
mine's Closer when Natalie n Jude was having that massive fight in his house before she ran off... that felt so real... EDIT: n i also like the part where Gigi Lai dies in Young and Dangerous 3... makes my eyes watery every time i c it...
Hmm....Movies? A Millionaire's First Love...and a lot more... i practically cri in every movie... Drama....My Girl....Goong...ISWAK...and other ones....it seems im into korean things more than HK or Tawian things...
Yeah I agree to that. I aspecially liked the part where the guy has to sneak into an all girls school to give the girl a rose for their 100th day anniversary. If you don't find that romantic then you probably don't have a heart.
just reading that sent a shiver down my spine, korean film, a moment to remember. that was pretty romantic but its really depressing
