I am an avid reader so I must say I have so many books that I love. As of late, I just finished reading The Great Hunt, which was so amazing. I also loved Tuesdays with Morrie, Hamlet, Death of a Salesman, and A Clock Work Orange.

Oh man! All of these books are simply orgasmic!

what was it about shimbumi that made it good? or you can just tell us what its about.

  8. It (shibumi) is a suspense novel, but it is written extremely well. I usually don;t read those types of books, but it was assigned to me in high school. I dont really know where to start describing it. The book is basically a commentary on america as an evil empire, but the story is way more than that, the author covers topics such as the game go, martial arts, caving, and it is just awesome. I have not found a person yet who has not enjoyed it

I really really want to read the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy! They are actually making a movie/releasing the movie in the next few months. I think before then, I shall read it.

And yes, many of the books we read at school are good. However, I don't like the idea of teachers prying apart every little detail and making some ridiculous meaning out of everything. Just appreciate the book for what the ---- it is!

a movie! thats awesome. cant wait.
yea i esp hate it when teachers put their own ideas in. i dont mind their input but i wish they didnt teach it like it was the law and put it on the tests.

shibumi sounds really deep. but i'll be sure to check it out

  11. Shibumi has some deep aspects if you want to explore them, but it is a easy book to read.

I saw the movie for Death of a Salesman. Hoffman does a ----ing amazing job... And so does John Malcovich (sp?). There's this scene with John and he just found out his father was cheating on his wife. And he storms away with snot all over him because he was sobbing/crying profusely.

Anyhow. I really want to read The Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. It sounds amazing. and they are making a movie.

I'm pretty sure The Da Vinci Code has only been released recently. The book I'm pretty sure questions the existance of God by presenting facts and details that Da Vinci exhibits in his paintings and creations.

That is what I got from a persentation anyway.
